The Fool That Was Blessed
The album is the largest project of Vide Geiger's career. It brings together songs from recent years in a coherent journey that blends intimacy in the landscape of the heart with a celebration of nature and our relationship to the earth of which we are a natural part.
A common thread is ideas around relational development, deeper community and how we are woven into the wonderful world of nature.

Short biography / artist profile:
Vide Geiger is a Swedish musician and songwriter who was praised for his moving and inspiring performances during his years in Canada. With over 30 years of experience as a guitarist, composer and studio musician, he has established himself with a unique musical voice that combines inspiring lyrics with playful guitar playing that both impresses and gets your feet moving to inviting rhythms.
Granddaughter of the famous film producer Rod Geiger , who initiated neoclassicism in Italy with Roberto Rosselini, and Vide's grandmother, Katja Geiger (known as Katja of Sweden ), Sweden's first fashion export, was a strong presence in Vide's life and inspired creativity, artistry, following one's heart and a curiosity about life.
Growing up in the collective live music community, Vide began his own musical journey in New Hampshire, USA, when he got his first guitar at the age of 14. He developed his sound in the Skogsnäskollektivet in northern Sweden and has over the years played at festivals in both Canada and Sweden, received awards and released a number of works on all major streaming platforms.
Vide played lead guitar for a long time in Jordbandet , a cult band rooted in prog rock in the 70s and which started in the collective Moder Jord s fertile soil in Skåne.
